Work in New Zealand with an Accredited Employer
If you have a job offer, or you’re applying for work with a New Zealand Accredited Employer, you may be eligible for a New Zealand Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
We provide professional immigration advice and support for visa applications with Immigration New Zealand. Our team of Licensed Immigration Advisers helps skilled migrants navigate the visa process safely and clearly. We are not Immigration New Zealand.
What is the Accredited Employer Work Visa?
The Accredited Employer Work Visa allows skilled migrants to work in New Zealand for up to five years, depending on the role and wage offered.
To apply, you’ll need:
- A job offer from an accredited employer in New Zealand
- Skills and experience relevant to the job
- To meet Immigration New Zealand’s visa requirements
Some roles on the NZ Green List may offer a pathway to residence.
Can I Bring My Family?
Yes. In many cases, partners and dependent children can apply for visas tied to your Accredited Employer Work Visa. If approved, they may be able to join you in New Zealand and have the ability to work, study, or visit during the same period.
Some Jobs Include Relocation Support
Certain accredited employers may offer relocation assistance. This varies by company and job type and could include help with flights, accommodation, or settling in.
